Due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic situation across our country, Virtual University had decided that there will be a slight change in the Course Assessment Scheme. Earlier we had Midterm & Final term exams, in this semester, we will conduct # Quiz-based activity for #Midterm Examination (Spring 2020). The syllabus for the final term exam is the same, 25% from lectures 1-22 and 75% from lectures 23-45. The mid-term exam is replaced by a Grand Quiz (probably will consist of 40-45 MCQs, depending on the subject). The date of the Final-term exam is not finalized yet.

Please read the instructions carefully;

• Grand Quiz will be conducted like normal quizzes, which means you would have Two Days to attempt it.
• The grand Quiz is replacing the Midterm exams, which are all Midterm syllabus will be included.
• There will be 60 Questions in Grand Quiz.

• The midterm exam will be in the form of a Quiz titled ‘’Grand Quiz’’.
• This grand quiz would be equivalent to 20% of the overall course.
• It would include 30 MCQs based on lectures no. 1 to 22.
• Each MCQ will have 4 options and you need to choose the most appropriate one.
• The allowed time for each MCQ is 90 seconds. You need to respond within this time period, otherwise, it will become inactive.
• Each question can be attempted only once (attempt it carefully since no retake option is available)
• Please note that grand quiz MCQs may involve some calculations, therefore, it is advised to keep this point in mind while making your preparations.The quiz will be comprised of thirty Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) . You have to attempt the quiz online. You can start your attempt anytime within the given duration of 24 hours by clicking the link of Quiz on VULMS. The time to attempt the Quiz is limited. Once you log in to attempt the quiz, the countdown will start and you have to complete the quiz in a given amount of time. So always keep an eye on the remaining time. Make sure you have a pencil, paper, and a scientific calculator for rough work and calculation while attempting the quiz. Attempting quizzes is unidirectional. Once you move forward to the next question, you cannot go back to the previous one. Therefore, before moving to the next question, make sure that you have selected the best option. Also, you may need to scroll down the question part to read the complete question and sometimes for the choices as well. Make sure you have a speedy and uninterrupted internet connection while attempting the quiz. If for any reason, you lose access to the internet (like power failure or disconnection of the internet), you will be able to attempt the quiz again from the position where you left in the last attempt.But remember that you have to complete the quiz before the expiry of the deadline.
